I grew up using traditional media among which I love aquarelles the most, although I’m getting rusty there. These days I draw digitally most often, using Procreate, sometimes PhotoShop or Clip Studio Paint.Needless to say, I’m against AI-generated imagery for a number of reasons, be it the grey-black moral or shady legal area of Authors’ Rights.

Chibi
Only as full-body and flat-coloured/rendered, about 600 × 600 px, most likely square or portrait orientation, small inklings of background are free; available variant: full-body creature fit to shape of a square icon (500 × 500 px).
Very simply designed characters get a discount and may cost even 30 € - I’d notify you if your character fits the bill!
A set of more chibis or icons would have a small discount, too. Animations, on the other hand, costs more, depending on what animation, how many frames, etc…

Couples
Price is calculated easily depending on style - size - background, for example: two rendered half-bodies with simple background would be 50 € (character) + 50 € (character) + 10 € (background) = 110 €; about 2388 × 1668 px, portrait or landscape orientation or square. I don’t draw NSFW, tasteful nudity is okay.

If you feel like you want to discuss your specific wishes up front to know the exact price, please feel free to contact me on discord (mechanika).I accept PayPal, Ko-fi payments and for residents of the Czech Republic with local bank account, the option of bank transfer order is also available.
Copyright
Unless agreed otherwise, the artwork created for you by me is:
1. for personal, non-commercial use only (which means non-profit)
2. non-exclusive (I am free to license or profit from the artwork, which I most likely won’t do but it leaves me the option to post the artwork online, and you may not resell, transfer or mint the artwork as NTFs).If your intended use of the artwork doesn’t meet the criteria, the price range difers and we need to discuss the copyrights first.
Revisions
Due to my workflow, I am most comfortable with “skeb” style while working on commissions, which means I work with what descriptions I had been given in the first place and a portion of my own artistic imagination - you get to see the finished work and I only fix mistakes in your character’s design I might have missed. This system is set by default.If you’d like to receive WIPs (work in progress) and have me wait for your approval and comments after each phase (sketch, flat colour, etc.), it’s +10€ for each character featured per artwork.There are three free proposal drafts provided from me in the beginning in case of bigger commissions where three or more characters are included (see below).
Refunds
There are many things that can happen - you don’t need to explain yourself to a stranger, but it’s a common decency to let me know in time if you’re not interested anymore after we have discussed and agreed on the commissions.In such case, I’m keeping the first half of the payment as compensation for my time and research.
If I didn’t ask for a first half, I’m just keeping score. There is probably still work and preparations behind a cancelled artwork and my spare time is rare.In case I need to completely cancel the commission due to reasons on my part, I return your whole payment, of course, if my own death isn’t the reason, which may prove difficult.
So how do I place a commission?
First of all, you need to contact me on discord (mechanika) - please note in your friend request that it concerns a commission. Most of the communication between us should take place there.You should have some basic information about your character and references prepared and know if you want a portrait, a full body, a specific pose, theme or vibe, etc. It’s okay to not have a visual character sheet, a description is fine by me, and so is anything like a mood board!
Try to be as precise as possible with any details that are important to you and don’t forget to mention if you wish for different image dimensions than are mentioned in the Portfolio.
Unless you specify the above mentioned, I am using my artistic freedom while working on the commission :)And after this part, once we are in agreement on all the details, including the price and you having read and understood the terms of service…For acquaintances and bigger commissions (above 30€ incl., or featuring three or more characters), I charge one half in advance, after that you get three proposal drafts from me (if there are three or more characters featured) and then after finishing everything from my side, you are expected to pay the other half before receiving the full-sized commission.For acquaintances and smaller commissions (under 30€), you specify as many details as you can and pay after I finish, before receiving the full-sized image. Meaning no proposal/WIP updates, only mistake fixes on my side in case you notice a flaw in the character’s design in the finished piece.For completely unknown individuals with unknown origin on the internet, I just charge up front to avoid scam. (I have met many even in the “official-sounding” environment, please don’t feel offended if I ask you for an upfront payment.)Deadlines haven’t been mentioned yet. By default, I like to keep an open window and deliver “when it’s done”… or not to open commissions slots at all if I know I’m going to be very busy. It may take a week is my schedule is optimistic, it may take a month or two.
It’s possible that you would like to have your artwork due to certain date - do tell me this in advance and I will try my best to meet it! In case I cannot deliver on our previously agreed deadline, I will definitely let you know! Also just to be sure, no, I rarely accept commissions timed “I need it tomorrow”.
